Tips to prepare for your skin or body session

  • Please view my services page before booking your appointment. Note: I do NOT offer a 60 minute facial session.

  • All skincare treatments will be decided on once your skin has been analyzed, this is done at the beginning of your service. I have over 75 different facial treatments to decide from, so there is something for every skin type. All sessions are customized specifically for your skin type and skin condition.

  • Be sure to consult with your doctor if you are Pregnant or Breastfeeding and be sure to notify me of this before we begin your session.

  • Suspend use of Retin A or any RX topical regimen 2 weeks prior to your service (consult with your doctor for further information and consent).

  • Do NOT exfoliate the skin with acid or chemicals for 7 days prior to your service. Gentle scrubs or mechanical brushes are OK to use.

  • Wait 7 days after having any facial injections to receive a facial treatment.

  • Be sure to drink lots of water the day before and the day of your appointment. Massage will release toxins from your body and if you are not well hydrated you may feel sick after your session as a result. The skin will bounce back quicker and will respond better when it is well hydrated.

  • No need to come makeup free to your appointment. I will cleanse your skin regardless of it being clean or dirty, so save yourself the time and leave that to me.

  • Do NOT get spray tans or apply self tanners before a scheduled appointment, it is best to get a spay tan or apply self tanners the day after a facial session.

  • If you have false eye lashes make sure you do NOT schedule a facial within 2 day after having eye lashes put on. Eye lash glue needs to rest 24-48 hours before steam and excessive moisture can be applied to the face.

  • It is best to avoid putting on makeup after a facial. The longer the skin has time to breathe~ the better.

  • Avoid getting sweaty (working out) or getting hot right after a facial.

  • Avoid direct sunlight 5-7 days post facial. Wearing a hat and sunscreen after a facial is expected.

  • Do NOT come in for a facial if you are sunburn or experiencing a windburn.

  • Gentlemen: It is best to NOT shave the face right before a facial. Shaving the day before is fine but day of shaving may result in a stinging sensation. I can work around a mans beard just fine.

  • It never hurts to bring in your current products that you're using at home (or take photos) Especially, if you are not aware of the main ingredients in your skincare regimen.
